It's not what you know, it's how you use it

When it comes to achieving your dreams, usually we close off options that we implicitly think are unrealistic. Often, we assume we are inadequate to execute amazing things by putting them on pedestals.

For me, I used to think I had to know something that I didn't know in order to succeed. As much as I love learning, that was a disabling thought, because I could never stop knowing more. By continually keeping myself lower than some unachievable standard, I never really aspired to change the world. I thought I'd just leave it for someone else more talented.

But knowing more is not what makes an amazing feat possible. Nobody fails because they don't know about basic truths, they fail because they don't apply them. Most self-help books (on dieting, finances, productivity, etc.) will state the obvious. They are only useful if you do after you read.

It's not about how much you know. It's about how you use what little you know to create something.

So what's stopping you?
